Tau Beta Pi was founded in 1885 at Lehigh University and is the oldest engineering honor society. The Colorado Epsilon chapter of Tau Beta Pi was founded at the University of Colorado Denver in 1985.

- WTS Colorado Student Chapter is about bringing people together - all genders and disciplines - to elevate women in leadership and advance transportation equity and innovation. WTS Colorado Student Chapter provides opportunities for students to engage with like-minded students and professionals in the transportation field through networking events, participating in mentoring and job shadowing opportunities, and engaging with fellow students in social and service activities. The AGC of Colorado is Colorado's leading professional association for the state's commercial building industry, representing over600 firms. AGC/C provides benefits and business resources ranging from: networking opportunities in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and the Mountain Region; dynamic committees; innovative education programs; construction safety services including a CHASE Partnership Program with OSHA; advocacy at alocal, state and national level and more. The membership of AGC/C is comprised of general contractors and specialty contractors (both union and non-union shops, public and privately owned; and, from very large to very small), suppliers and professional service providers.

The Dean’s Student Advisory Council(DSAC) is comprised of students who will meet biweekly with the Dean, Student Representatives, Department Chairs, Faculty, and Staff to provide feedback and information on their experiences here at CEDC. There will also be opportunities at each meeting to discuss about collaborative events and student engagement. The DSAC's goal is to come together in an effort to continuously improve the student experience and influence positive change within the community. Time Commitment: 2-3 hours once a month.
