To drive a motor vehicle in the state of Odisha, it is mandatory for the vehicle owner to register his vehicle with the Odisha RTO. Each registered vehicle at the Odisha RTO is provided with a unique registration number that is assigned at the time of application. Registration of vehicle at Odisha RTO requires a vehicle owner to follow the process mentioned below.
Documents required for registration of vehicle at Odisha RTO:
- Application in Form 20
- Sales certificate in Form 21
- Form 22 i.e. road worthiness certificate

- Design approval by State Transport Commissioner is required if the registration has to be done for semi-trailer or trailer vehicle
