There are a lot of AP classes available so resources for higher education are abundant. However, not all teachers are good at teaching the material. Admin are helpful and seem to care about the students. The student body is pretty diverse but as with any group of humans there are nice people and mean people—I hear the swim team in particular is very cliquey. The band and orchestra and theater and dance programs seem to be good social areas, though.

It’s a good school if you’re a hard-working, high-achieving student with motivation and dedication. The honors and AP classes are quiet but rigorous classes that challenge students. Most honors/AP classes here have constant, lengthy assignments or packets that are all due at 11:59 pm. The on-level classes have teachers who don’t care about the students’ mental health, the curriculum doesn’t challenge the students, and the classes are essentially daycare. So if you’re a student here, you either suffer from boredom or struggle in your classes. The language classes are diverse and have excellent teachers. The food in the lunch line is pretty good, just be ready for a huge line, unless you get there within 0.2 seconds of the lunch bell ringing. There are normal high school problems, like people vaping in the bathrooms, fighting in the courtyard, and walking slowly in the hallways, but overall, it’s not a bad school. Also, all of the fine arts are underfunded and the football team is trash.
