Wednesday's College Football Best Bet

Ole Miss -3.5 (-108) ⭐⭐⭐

Luckily for bettors, the Texas Bowl is not poised to be heavily impacted by players opting out and/or entering the transfer portal. Kiffin has also been inked to a long-term contract extension to stay in Oxford. As such, both teams are mostly intact coming into Wednesday’s contest.

As Ole Miss’ season fell apart down the stretch, plenty of betting analysts and folks on Twitter rushed to say that this was an overrated and fraudulent team. However, one must consider the quality of opponents that the Rebels were facing late in the year. The SEC West Division was without a doubt the deepest in all of college football. There’s no shame in losing to teams like LSU, Alabama, Arkansas, and Mississippi State.

From a matchup standpoint, it’s hard not to love the outlook for the Ole Miss ground game in the Texas Bowl. True freshman Quinshon Judkins and Zach Evans spearheaded the nation’s second-leading rushing attack. As a whole, the Rebels ranked 13th in the country in adjusted offensive efficiency.

While the Rebels were busy averaging a whopping 264.2 rushing yards per game, Texas Tech was ceding 177.2 yards on the ground per game to its opponents. Compounding matters for the Red Raiders in the bowl game is the fact that star linebacker/end Tyree Wilson is out due to a season-ending injury that he suffered in early November.

The fact that Kiffin has plenty of experience leading teams in bowl games is also noteworthy given that this will be McGuire’s first such matchup as a head coach. The 3.5-point spread feels rather cheap. Perhaps the market is overreacting to Ole Miss’ poor finish to the regular season.

Wednesday's College Basketball Best Bet

Kentucky (-149) ⭐⭐⭐

The last time we saw each of these teams in action against a top-25 opponent, Missouri dismantled Illinois by 22 points at home, while Kentucky lost by 10 on a neutral court against UCLA.

Though Missouri has five players averaging double-figure points, three (Noah Carter, D’Moi Hodge, and DeAndre Gholston) were playing at mid-major schools last season. Missouri’s frenetic style should be just what John Calipari’s squad needs to get a sluggish offense going.

The Wildcats have advantages over the Tigers in two major categories: 3-point shooting (39.9% vs. 36.1% allowed) and offensive rebounding (37.6% vs. 35.7% allowed).

All sportsbooks are higher on Kentucky than when it opened at -140, but Caesars still provides the best value with others as high as -157.

Wednesday's NBA Best Bet

Warriors (+143) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just like the Suns without Booker, the Warriors aren’t the same team when Curry is sidelined. That statement isn’t quite as true when the team is in San Francisco, as the Dubs have won two straight at home without Curry. In fact, Golden State has won three of its last five games with Curry out of action.

The Warriors are 2-0 as home underdogs this season, and they’ll make it 3-0 on Wednesday. The home/road splits are pretty astonishing. Golden State is 14-2 straight up at home and just 3-16 on the road. The Utah Jazz are 7-12 on the road compared to 12-5 at home, and Utah is just 1-3 as the road favorite.

Even with Curry and Andrew Wiggins sidelined, we’re taking the team with the best home-court record in the Association.

Wednesday's NHL Best Bet

Mark Stone Under 2.5 shots on goal (+125)

On Wednesday, everyone will likely be playing the Over on the player props for the Vegas Golden Knights players, but we're seeing a very favorable price point on the Under for Mark Stone.

Stone is projected to have 2.3 shots on goal against the Ducks on Wednesday. This projection falls below the total of 2.5 and well below the three shots on net required in order to lose this prop bet. Despite the fact that this projection is below the total, Stone is currently trading at -165 to go Over the total of 2.5 on BetMGM.

Our best price for this prop is available at BetMGM and PointsBet, where we can get a +125 on Under 2.5 shots on goal. Stone is much shorter at Caesars, trading at +106 to go Under 2.5 shots.
