Job Description

The Department of Entrepreneurship and Management is seekingapplications from outstanding candidates for an Endowed Chair atthe rank of associate or full professor in organizational behaviorand human resources. This is tenure-track or tenuredposition.

Endowed Chairs and Professors in the University of Missouri Systemare outstanding leaders in scholarship, teaching and service andare among the most prestigious positions in the university. Theseprominent distinguished scholars provide leadership and service tothe university, their discipline, and the surroundingcommunity.

Qualifications

· PhD or DBA in business (or a related discipline) with a focus onorganizational behavior and human resources from an institutionwhere the business school is accredited by AACSB or EQUIS.

· Evidence of instructional effectiveness, pedagogical innovation,and a commitment to high-impact teaching methods. Candidates alsomust demonstrate the potential to effectively utilize differentteaching modalities and to address the needs of students fromacross a broad portfolio of programs and from many differentbackgrounds.

· Evidence demonstrating the capability to publish in high-impactjournals. The candidate must have an established and activeresearch program with a significant portfolio of publications inhighly respected outlets.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications, experienceand evidence of success in publications and research. This is a9-month, benefit-eligible, full-time (1.0) faculty appointmenteligible for tenure. Appointment to begin in August 2025.
